Adventures on my bike
Distance: 55.6 miles. Elevation: 1434 ft.
It was a lovely warm sunny day with a light south-easterly breeze.
The route down to Dymchurch was amazing – flat, traffic-free and with great road surfaces. These conditions really add to the enjoyment factor.
As can be seen from the map, the route back was slightly hillier. Also, the road surfaces were not as nice overall. Still I achieved a good average of 17.3 mph on the return leg.
